Batting:
A batting team sends two batters to the pitch.

Formats of International Cricket
Cricket is unique in having three main international formats, each with different durations and rules.
Test Matches:
The traditional and longest form of cricket, played over a maximum of five days, with each team batting two innings.
One Day Internationals (ODIs):
Matches are completed in a single day, with each team batting for a maximum of 50 overs.
Twenty20 (T20) Internationals:
A fast-paced format where each team bats for a single innings of 20 overs, typically lasting about three to four hours.
